Amara Konneh is Liberia’s sixteenth Minister of Planning & Economic Affairs, the voice of economic growth in the Liberian Government. A former analyst at the Vanguard Group of Investment Companies, Minister Konneh is a core member of President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf’s economic management team. He is primarily responsible for overseeing the implementation of Liberia’s three-year development agenda, the Poverty Reduction Strategy. Minister Konneh spoke on Monday, November 16, 2009.
