Dogs aren't allowed to go to the Atlantic side of the beach because there are endangered birds. (And because they suck!) Also, they have an area fenced off to humans too.

BACKSTORY: Carolyn's family reunion was at Cape Cod this year. We stayed at the Chatham Bars Inn. It was a lot of fun, and we were happy to see everyone.
