We just took advantage of a 0% financing deal and purchased a new car. I have been admiring its different curves and knobs and lights, so I thought it would make for a good assignment.
The assignment is to capture all or part of an automobile this week. It could be abstract, down to a tiny vent or dial, or go wide angle and get the whole car in the shot. Just wow us with your automobile shot.
Dare: Edit your photo in some way
Restriction: No motorcycles or toy cars
WIT: Last minute completion after dropping the daugher off to college - busy week! This is the front headlamp of our Toyota Rav4. I really liked how all the reflections cast different hues in the macro mode. Shot at f/2.8, 1/25 sec, ISO 400 at about 8:00 p.m. EDT. CS4 processed similar to most of mine, slight crop on this one, curves for high contrast, vibrance increase, noise reduction, resize, increased the black canvass slighly, sharpened. I tried several color filters, but decided to go with the original after all.
