Tracks on Fountains Earth Moor

After weeks of heavy rain, these tracks remain relatively dry and a pleasure to negotiate. The track that runs forward crosses remote moorland towards Grewelthorpe and Wensleydale - while the track that turns left ascends gradually, keeping roughly parallel to the course of the River Nidd, yet high above the dale.
