I was here recently, at The Owl of Minerva in Pickering, celebrating a friend's birthday over some delicious Korean food. Everything was absolutely delicious but something was missing, hence this visit.
This time around, we had their KamJaTang Jeongol, the large bowl of their delicious Pork Bone Soup, with extra ingredients. This was the perfect choice for a cold wintery day. The flavours were as rich as expected, with lots of tender meat on the bones, vegetables, ricecakes, dumplings, and more. Great dish!
We also had their JeYukBokeum, a stir-fried pork dish served on a sizzling plate, another winner with great flavour!
As usual, our meal included rice, kimchi, bean sprouts, pickled radish, pickled cucumbers, and great service from the friendly staff.
The portions were very generous and we took home lots of leftovers.
