Day 64 - AMARAN

Amaran = Warning

 

First, let me be clear to you. This is not me getting on my high horse and preaching on how and why you should quit. For the most part of my life, my views on smokers have always been neutral.

 

I've never smoked... but up until earlier this year pretty much all the people around me who smoked had my concern and other people's concern in their mind.

 

Some of them even asked permission before lighting... which is very polite. But if they don't it's okay, as long as they make sure that the fumes aren't blowing my way.

 

My previous Store Manager (Ass M for short) was the worst kind of smoker I've ever met. Well, worst kind of person also. He would go for a smoking break every 2 hours at least. I honestly wouldn't mind but at the very least he could,

 

1. inform me. So I wouldn't be calling his name pathetically when there's suddenly a crowd.

 

2. stay when there is a crowd... and go later.

 

He does it all the time. Even when there's only one partner working. Oh and he also favours partners who can smoke. And brings them on his smoking break as well.

 

 

 

 

 

 

And this is me letting go. I quit working already so I should stop asking for the latest gossip of the stupid things he does from my ex-colleagues.

Usually when you're angry, people either don't know or don't care.

I'm sure he doesn't know and I'm pretty sure if he knew, he wouldn't care.
