What if I Fly? || ¿Y si vuelo? (Fanad Head Lighthouse, County Donegal. Ireland)

On the breezes of the sky,
And you ask, "What if I fall?"

Once I finished capturing the breathtaking sunrise that I immortalized in my photograph called "The Light is my Guide", I decided to take my drone out of my backpack to take more videos and pictures of the beautiful Fanad Head Lighthouse. The wind was even stronger than on other occasions that I had flown over the sea, but as it was blowing inland, I decided to try again. After getting some videos and photos with the sun still in the composition, I decided to fly far over the sea to seek even more unique views of this incredible place.
My Mavic Air 2 was handling the conditions superbly, and I could really enjoy flying around the lighthouse. Moments after capturing several videos and bracketing exposures with which I have created this photograph, a gust of wind must have reached the drone and a warning due to strong winds appeared on my screen advising me to land. It was time to stop risking and return to the mainland. Perhaps I could have lost the drone in the waters of the Atlantic Ocean, but those minutes flying free in one of my favorite locations in Ireland will remain forever in my memory.

Una vez que terminé de capturar la impresionante salida del sol que inmortalicé en mi fotografía "La Luz es mi Guía", decidí sacar mi dron de la mochila para realizar más vídeos y fotografías del precioso Faro de Fanad Head. El viento era incluso más fuerte que en otras ocasiones que había volado sobre el mar, pero al estar soplando tierra adentro, decidí probar nuevamente. Tras conseguir algunos vídeos y fotos con el sol todavía en la composición, decidí volar lejos mar adentro para buscar vistas aún más únicas de este increíble lugar.
Mi Mavic Air 2 estaba soportando magníficamente las condiciones, y pude disfrutar muchísimo volando alrededor del faro. Instantes después de capturar varios vídeos y ráfagas con las que he creado esta fotografía, una racha de viento debió alcanzar el dron y un aviso por fuertes vientos saltó en mi pantalla aconsejándome aterrizar. Llegó el momento de dejar de arriesgar y volver a tierra firme. Quizás podía haber perdido el dron en las aguas del Océano Atlántico, pero aquellos minutos volando libre en una de mis localizaciones favoritas de Irlanda permanecerán para siempre en mi memoria.
