Hamamelis 2017

Our Witch Hazel is doing well in spite of the snow and sub freezing temperatures we had in the city. Not the case with other plants, but the cold will be good for the garden in general as a means to keep diseases and insect pests in check.

Witch Hazel is an early nectar source for pollinators that have limited choices at this time of year.

Portland, Oregon.
