Judas Karoo of 1 Canadian Ranger Patrol Group (1 CRPG) uses a fast rope instillation set up by A-Coy 3 PPCLI to get down a hill about 5 KM from the Hamlet of Kugaaruk on the Feb 16, 2014 for Ex Arctic Ram. Arctic Ram is an infantry exercise held in Kugaaruk, Nunavut for the purpose to train in an austere and remote environment and to test their ability to rapidly deploy and respond to a situation in a domestic setting as well as to conduct infantry tasks in a unique and complex terrain, all of which will showcase the capabilities of 3 PPCLI and the Arctic Response Company Group (ARCG).
