A Study of Plants: Violets

Polaroid SX-70
Impossible Project PX680 CP
I was drawn towards this potted plant. It was resting on a small side table, along with several other plants, whose surface was a mirror speckled with scratches and missing flakes. Sunlight was hitting the mirror and gave brilliant color to every plant displayed on this showroom of sorts. Using PX680 film in my SX-70 caused these strong colors to appear unsaturated, and I love that. The color is still there, but now the natural curves and waves in the violet's petals take center stage.
