"Gard Dog"

Piloting a late-model Mastiff, Air Lieutenant E.M. Gard scores her 14th kill in this rendition from the Battle of Ryukyu, 1947. A year later, Gard would be the first pilot to exceed Mach 1.

Inspired by this piece by kbarts. Also a casualty of the dreaded tweak impulse, I spent 3 days doing renders only to come up with a smoother landing gear solution afterwards.
