MacArthur Detour

An empty Rush Island (RTR) coal train detours over the MacArthur Bridge in St Louis, MO. These trains usually take the TRRA High Line from the River Sub up to the Hannibal Sub (K-Line), but work along that route necessitated a detour. The train re-crossed the Mississippi on the Merchants Bridge in North St Louis, and made its way back to BNSF trackage.
