Absorbance and emission vibronic structure in fluorite.
The transmission spectrum is shown in orange with a 6th order polynomial fit in dark blue. The normalised transmission, scaled up by 70, is shown in green. This shows five low contrast vibronic ripples above 17000 cm-1 with a separation (delta-k) of about 900 cm-1.
The delta-k for the florescent vibronic ripples in this sample of fluorite is 546 cm-1 (see second comment below).
