[EXPLORED] Holy Cow
Alright, this one is quite different. Shana and I were on our way back from shooting a wedding in Schulenberg, TX and happened upon this roadkill cow. It was the first time I've ever seen a cow in the median like this, and I had to figure out some way to shoot it in the extreme darkness.
There are no street lights out that way - so I decided to try a new technique for me. I set up the camera on the tripod and locked the shutter open, ended up being for 78 seconds. I walked around and hand-triggered about 15 flashes around the cow to light the scene. I didn't fire any when the cars were driving by because I didn't want to get any of the cars in the shot - just light trails... :)
