Before And After Painting
No-one was hurt in the destruction of my ceiling!
The fire alarm boys dropping in for a brew.
I managed to rescue the main part of the ceiling board they broke. I screwed it back up to the joists with drywall screws.
Artex Fibatape was applied to the edge of the crack to help bridge cracking. I then applied three coats of Gyproc Easi-fil to the area to make it flush.
This was rubbed down between coats to create a smooth finish ready for a mistcoat and two full coats of emulsion.
Thanks boys, stay out of the roof space in future!
