[EVENT] BCCK holds 2024 Christmas Long Lunch

On Friday, December 6, the British Chamber of Commerce in Korea held its Long Christmas Lunch at Grand Hyatt Seoul in partnership with AstraZeneca and Lung Cancer Zero Campaign. The attendees enjoyed Christmas crackers, a traditional Christmas lunch, auctions, and a charity raffle. There were live music performances and 70 elementary school children from Seoul Foreign School (British School), Dulwich College Seoul, Dwight School Seoul and British Education Korea joined together to perform Christmas carols for the attendees.

 

There were speeches from Colin Crooks LVO, British Ambassador to South Korea, Se Whan, Country President of AstraZeneca, and BCCK Chair and Executive Director, Sean Blakeley and Lucinda Walker. This year, the MC was Gareth Weir, Deputy Ambassador of British Embassy Seoul, and our auctioneer was Shinwoo Kang, CEO of ARTISAN. Over 60 companies sponsored the event and 470 guests attended from British, Korean, and multinational companies.
