Trevaunance Cove, St Agnes, Cornwall

Although I've been coming down to Cornwall for many years I only came across Trevaunance Cove three or four years ago. Since then I've been back many times. There is a wonderful cafe overlooking the beach and a little private car park, near to where this shot was taken from, that you can almost always get into. The cove itself, which in effect is the beach for St Agnes, is quite delightful with a large sandy beach and rock pools at low tide. The coastal scenery is quite stunning. This was once a key tin- and copper-mining area and the remains are to be seen all around.
