While it might lose a stop between the widest and shortest focal lengths don't let that stop you; the K-M 17-35mm is one of the better ultra-wide lenses for the A-Mount and is often cited as sharper as the constant aperture twin. But that doesn't matter to me, I just love this lens for an ultra-wide travel lens!
