Streetcar Trolley Wheels (aka Bogie) in Black and White
Happy to make a black and white version of a photo of a Streetcar bogie. This is a set of four wheels that help the streetcar navigate the rails laid along its route - very massive and occasionally in need of sharpening & polishing.
I decided to tag along on this "Jane's Walk" by the Seattle Streetcar Coalition so as to see inside one of two maintenance bays of the Seattle Streetcar. I also learnt a bit of Seattle and urbanist history along the way. Please enjoy and use my photography responsibly - thanks!
