Power of the Strobe...
Thought I'd show one of my tricks - using a bright video strobe light (smile.amazon.com/dp/B004TJ6JH6/ref=cm_sw_r_tw_dp_x_Zp-Ryb...) to light up the photo subject just enough to help my flash out.
