According to today's news article (9th March 2016), the Australasian Common Bluebottle (Blue Triangle), Graphium sarpedon, ... 'holds the record for having the largest number of different vision cells in its eyes for any insect, scientists say'. More from the article here

This photo is one of the Australian "sub-species (G. s. choredon) commonly known as the Blue Triangle butterfly".
It's flight is powerful, fast and erratic. It rarely seems to stop for long.
