Bergenhus Fortress

The Palace Courtyard in the Bergenhus Fortress at Bergen, Norway. Straight ahead is the Residence of the Captain of the Guard. Behind it on the left is Håkon Håkonsson's Gatehouse. On the right is the Commandant's Residence.

Bergenhus is one of the oldest and best preserved fortresses in Norway.
