Day 147: Shadow vs light.
Today I experimented a little bit more with white background, trying my best to work with having a true white background lit up by overexposing the back.
But I don't think it was bright enough, in that my back light needs to be on a smaller tripod and the light has to be more powerful. Hmmm. It turned out that the top part of the whiteground was very bright and white, but gradually towards the sides (due to the light and the metal reflectors) it kinda got dark[ish]. Hmmm.
So in this shot, I had PS help me a little bit. Only by dodging the shoulders a little bit. Everything else is true work... Ahem. Except for the cloning of some blemishes. Heh. And channel mixing.
Strobist information: Softbox to camera right, and a background light (brolly-less) behind me.
