Kodak Signet 35
The Kodak Signet 35 is a 35mm rangefinder camera manufactured by Kodak in Rochester, NY, USA from February 1951 through March 1958. The Signet 35 has a coupled rangefinder and a nice sharp Ektar 44mm f/3.5 lens in a sturdy cast aluminum alloy body. The shutter - a Kodak Synchro 300 - must be cocked manually, and offers only four speeds. I decided I liked this little guy enough to have my camera repair guy service it - so now the rangefinder is bright and clean and the shutter is firing correctly at all speeds, and the lens is nice and clean. Photo taken with an Olympus E-1 and Tamron Adaptall 24mm F/2.5 (01BB) and Fotodiox adapter.
