Jochem Poensgen Panel
Panel designed by in 1982 Jochem Poensgen, one of Germany's leading glass artist..
Jochem was our visiting lecturer whilst I was at college in Swansea, and gave talks on his work, which moved more towards more geometric, lighter toned glazing since this piece was made. I shall always remember him as a very learned, patient and amiable individual who was also kind enough to spend a day with us when we visited Germany with college, showing us some of the sights of his home town, Soest.
Panel displayed in the Deutsches Glasmalerei-Museum in Linnich (German Stained Glass Museum), located appropriately close to the country's oldest working stained glass workshop, the Oidtmann Studio.
