REALTOY BMW M3 (E46) COUPE NO10 1/64

Looking at this Realtoy BMW M3 which dates probably from around the late 2000's is a sobering reminder of just what little choice we Brits now have when collecting pocket money priced 1/64 diecasts. Sure, there is a never-ending selection from Mattels Matchbox and Hot Wheels brands but anything else which looks half decent is scant in availability. Collectors and children want to see toys which resemble what they see on the roads and not cheap looking generics which resemble nothing in particular.

Costs have risen sharply from the 2000's of course but instead of raising prices slightly to cover this our retailers have opted for the cheapest option with no regard to whether the product will actually sell well! Realtoy were at the forefront of supplying Matchbox beating models at extremely competitive prices, pretty much all our major supermarkets used them and surprise surprise.....they sold by the bucket full!

This BMW M3 perfectly illustrates the types of models they were churning out, deliciously detailed, beautifully finished and absolute stock in its appearance. Maybe one day we will see their return?

Mint and boxed.
