New Haven Railroad EP-3 electric locomotive # 357, with a west bound passenger train is seen at the station platform in Stamford, Connecticut, ca mid 1950's. In this scene you may observe the short blade lower quadrant semaphore block signals that are used in the electrified territory. The baggage car doors have been replace with the modified flat panel door that included a single centered window. Notice the distinctive triangular shaped catenary that is used in this portion of the railroad westward.
