The Anchor, Abbey Street, Faversham

A fine Shepherd Neame pub at the end of Abbey Street in Faversham.

 

Abbey Street would be a photographer's dream if it wasn't for the cars - do you think the residents would mind if cars were banned?

 

I understand that part of the street was to have been demolished in the 1960s to make way for some tower blocks. Thank goodness that didn't go ahead.
