patched radiator
A little over a year ago my 19-year-old Civic's radiator developed a crack in its top and spewed coolant all over the engine compartment. A fortuitous stop at a helpful quick oil change shop caught it in time. As I had just ceased my long commute (which I will start again next week, btw), and was ready to buy a new car just as soon as the 2016 Prius and 2016 Civic were available, I decided to just try to patch it with some epoxy and try to limp to the finish line. Here's my first attempt. I think it held for a little over a month.
