Drip

With all sorts of specialty equipment, handmade mugs, latte designs and intricate drip systems, presentation has become a big part of enjoying a cup of coffee.

I found this drip apparatus featured at Case Study Coffee Roasters online. It is a cold drip system that produces acid free coffee, and a "unique flavor not found in regular coffee". In reviews users reported that it was, "beautifully impractical" and "worth the $$$".

Would the coffee taste any better if you had no idea it came from this tower? Is it a unique selling point for a city known for good coffee? Or is it's main purpose to serve as functional art? Either way, it caught my eye and the lens of my camera. I'm writing about it and tagging the business, so whatever the end goal, I think it did it's job.
