Phlocus phalangiodes
This is another candidate for the name 'Daddy long legs'. Unlike the harvestman, this is a true spider with two distinct parts to its body - a carapace carrying the legs and an abdomen.
These spiders are usually found inside houses - hence their common name of cellar spider - but this one has set up home inside the lid of our garden compost bin.
