Great start to the new year !!... 16th January 2017. A pair of French Rafales diverted to Malta, together with their aerial refuelling C-135FR tanker, which requested emergency landing due to engine problem. Rafales armed with 2 variants of MBDA MICA air to air missiles - the radar guided and the infra-red heat seeking.
