Bridget Sings
Heard at a program at the Bru Boru Cultural Centre in Cashel, Ireland.
Sorry about no explanation when I first posted this. I was too tired last night. Here is the explanantion in my daughter's words:
" ... we went to the nearby cultural center where they promote traditional Irish music and dancing. There was a show in the evening, but we had to drive on to Blarney so could not go to it. But, as luck would have it we were invited to get in on a small show that was being put on for an adult day care center group. I think it was more special than the nightly canned show would have been. They involved the senior citizens in the singing and dancing (Bridget was one of the seniors that was invited to sing). I was grabbed out of my seat for a waltz. And by the end, all four of us were dancing in a circle dance with all of the seniors as we celebrated one man’s birthday singing For He’s a Jolly Good Fellow. What fun! "
