Back to the Future is one of my all time favorite films. The dialogue if fantastically written, Micheal J Fox and Chistopher Lloyd have incredible peformences, and the music is just so epic. -
-
-So fun facts about Back to the future.
-
-1: Eric Stoltz was actually the first person to play Marty. Robert Zemickis wanted Michael J Fox for the role, but he was shooting Family Ties every day, and didn't have room for it in his schedule. So they casted Eric Stoltz, shot around 3 weeks of footage, and then Robert and Bob decided that he wasn't the best fit, and so they fired Eric and convinced Micheal to shoot Back to the Future after Family Ties was done shooting (which is essentially 22 hours of filming a day!) -
-2: The ending to BTTF where Marty, Jenifer, and Doc travel in the Delorean to the Future wasn't actually meant to be a segway into a sequel. Robert and Bob never planned a sequel and put that in pretty much as a joke.
-
-3: BTTF 2 and 3 were shot back to back.
