Buffalo Central Terminal

Even this picture cannot emphasize just how massive this terminal once was. In addition to the buildings visible here, the terminal included a Railway Express Agency building, an ice house, a Pullman service facility, a coach yard and shop, and a generating station. The latter were demolished by the New York Central in 1966 to reduce operating costs of the terminal.
