*Today (July 14, 2014) an orchid plant that I nurtured for over a year bloomed on our friends' anniversary! It had developed buds once before, but to my great disappointment, they fell off. This time they kept swelling to completion! Happy Anniversary dear friends...this orchid's for you! (The narrow leaves with red edges are another plant that the orchid was placed within.)
