the end is near

I was watching the egrets when I caught some movement out of the corner of my eye near the shoreline. The shad was coming up to the surface and flopping around quite a bit, almost like he was gulping for air. The young gator sensed the movement in the water and swam over from about forty feet and made a quick lunch of the shad. ( explore # 86 ) my thanks to everyone
