December Bird
I found this flower in a parking lot in Santee, and brought it home to exploit.
Strobist info: I wanted to backlight the orange "feathers" so I placed a YN560 in a rogue snoot behind and camera left. For fill, I placed a YN560-II in a 24 inch softbox camera right at 4 o'clock. Both strobes in manual mode were triggered by a Yongnuo RF-603N. The setup shot is the first picture below.
