The next set of photos are of KF4LWX's IC-208H radio.
Of the ones I have looked at, this was the one with the weakest caps.
He said the radio was useable as a receiver, but commanding it from the microphone was a problem.
In mid transmission the audio would get weak.
The new caps seem to have solved the issue.
10uF were about 15 ohms and the 100uF was about 3 ohms.
The next few photos are to show what to look for when the dud caps come out.
This is to give you an idea of what the pads look like with one of the 10uF caps.
There are very tiny fingers that make the contact from the conductor to the pad.
