Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be cut off from civilization for a while? Obviously you’d need to finish that mini-series first and make a few preparations. But imagine looking out from your balcony and seeing nothing but the ocean- a completely still emptiness. No emails from work, no government scientists telling you to flatten your curve and no trying to hide the fact that you’re still in your pyjamas at one o’clock in the afternoon. Doesn’t that sound like utopia? Well, come on over and we’ll go off grid for a while*.
* disclaimer- it’s only off grid in one direction. Just as long as you don’t look out of the back at the large caravan park about 10 metres away, you could be anywhere in the world. Anywhere that has grey skies and drizzle, that is.
To all my wonderful Flickr friends, I wish you a happy New Year. I’m sorry for being such a hopeless contact and for not keeping up- I’d really like to blame it on the pandemic and hospital life but the fact is that I’m just very poor at multitasking. Always useful for a doctor.
