Road bully

...I never quite figured out why Yellow's truck are orange. Yellow is one of the biggest LTD (less-than-truckload) logistic companies in the US.

 

The setup for this shot is risky, but I was bored when travelling from Chicago to Madison. In the construction zone between Rockford and Beloit traffic goes very close together so trucks are close to you on the left. I held me 10-20mm with a polarizar out the window (not too much) and aimed backwards as I let the trucks passed me - and I love how this and some of the shots below came out...

 

I got the idea when spotting a car hauler full with VW cars. Then I decided to shot it from the side while passing it. Although that shot (one of ten of so) turned out well the ISO was too low. Since both I and the truck are moving I increased ISO to 400. Then I decided to try to shot trucks from the side and from the front. To get the main shot I kept the camera close to the window and aimed backwards as the trucks were passing and fired multiple shots...
