This old boy is Dexter; 18 months ago the vets said he would have a couple of months to live (he has some cancerous tumours the size of tennis balls on his back legs), but he's still going strong - can't wait to go out for his walks every day, just as he was as a puppy.
Dexter's owner was a good friend of mine, who sadly passed away from cancer himself just before xmas. His children asked if I'd come out and get a picture of their dog, as they'd like to remember him as he still is - it was a bit of a challenge as despite his age and condition, he doesn't keep still for more than a couple of seconds!
