V2500 10th stage bleed valve

This is 1 of 4 bleed valves on a IAE V2500 engine.

These valves are fitted to the High Pressure Compressor to improve engine starting and also prevent engine surge when the compressor is operating at off- design conditions.

Remember, this engine could develope up to 33500 lbs of thrust if rated.
