Jagged Edge

Crumbling cliff edges inspire caution while providing jagged-edged sunrise compositions overlooking the blue badlands stretching out far and wide in the valley below, near Hansville, Utah.

 

One thing I've learned about myself since I've gotten more into photography is that I like the time out in nature much more than spending time at my computer processing pictures. Perhaps that's because my regular life already requires a bunch of screen time. But whatever the reason, I realize I've neglected to go through an awful lot of images from our trips over the past several years.

 

So now I'm working in earnest to reduce the backlog if you will, and the good news is that this process bringing back a ton of great memories and a renewed appreciation for all that we have seen through the promise and inspiration that photography provides me.

 

I've posted shots from these amazing cliff tops before, but the jagged arrangement in the left of frame here intrigued me enough to share this one too.
