Red Glass

Since I was a child I had a fascination with colored glass. I always had jars and bottles of various colors sitting in my bedroom window, in the barn window, in my tack shop window....

 

I have a need for color in my life, and am attracted particularly to red glass.

 

I think a lot of it started as a pre-teen reading the novel "Pounding Hooves"..... the girl in the book had her own studio with huge windows filled with bottles of various colors.

 

I'd love to have a huge studio/scrapbooking room... with a large window.... with glass shelving across the window.... the shelves would be adorned with colored glass!
