St. Boniface Cathedral At Night

St. Boniface Cathedral is a historic landmark in Winnipeg. Father Norbert Provencher (later a bishop) ordered its construction in 1818 in the form of a small log chapel. On July 22, 1968, the residents of Saint Boniface lost the cathedral to a fire. This impressive front is all that remains of the original building.
