New Formalism architecture at the Teacher Retirement System building (about to be sold and demolished because why not waste more tax dollars and pension funding ) stands in stark contrast to that of Lebanese architect John Kassouf who built St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Church. The buildings stand across the street from each other and made their debuts 40 years apart.
