Candy Darling, 1944 – 1974 (seems like yesterday) was an American actress, best known as a Warhol Superstar and transsexual icon. She starred in Andy Warhol's films Flesh (1968) and Women in Revolt (1971), and was a muse of The Velvet Underground.
Post Warhol Candy had a career in film and on stage. At the insistence of Tennessee Williams she starred in the original 1972 production of Williams' play Small Craft Warnings.
