Blakeney esker
A glimpse of the sands and gravels which constitute the remains of the esker, a sinuous ridge that runs from Glandford to the coast above the Glaven Valley in Norfolk. A fluvioglacial feature, it was formed by the accumulation of debris within a slow-moving stream below the melting ice as the main ice sheet retreated at the end of the last Ice Age.
