Finally it's raining on my place in Tucson! It's the summer monsoon season. However it has been very very hot and dry!! This is a welcome relief...

Total serendipity. I saw the cloud-to-cloud lightning bolt as I pressed the shutter button, and it was very bright. I thought "too bad I missed it." I think this is the dim lingering afterglow of the super bright lightning bolt's flash.
It was quite dramatic. I was hoping I wouldn't get zapped by a lightning bolt. The thunder was loud, even with my limited hearing!!
